Nil Capital Outlay For Solar PV Systems and Energy Efficiency Measures
Water and Energy Savers have partnered with Investec Bank (Australia) Pty LtdA� for the supply of financing of commercial Solar PV Systems and energy efficiency measures for businesses, schools, colleges and universities around Australia .
For schools, colleges, universities and businesses not eligible for the Clean Technology Manufacturers and Food and Foundries Investment Program Grants, Investec Bank is willing to provide a 100% finance package with financing terms of 4 to 7 years available. Generally the finance term is set at the payback periodA� so the monthly electricity cost savings pay for the system and energy efficiency measures installed.
For eligible businesses :-
1.A�A�A� 50% of the funding is available via a grant from Clean Technology Food and Foundries Investment Program
2.A�A�A� 50% can be funded via finance or lease from Investec Bank (Australia) Ltd over 4 to 7 years .
To date about half of our clients fund the Solar PV System using internal funds so that they obtain an immediate operating cost saving.A� Internal rates of return on the investment have ranged from 16% to 38%.A� With these levels of return the investment becomes irresistible.
The other half of our clients have used up to 100% financing.

Most clients start with a 20 or 30 kW Commercial Solar PV system, as we can get quick approval from your network provider for commercial solar PV systems up to 30 kW.A� If you already have a solar PV system installed we recommend that you upgrade your system to make a total of 30 kW of installed power.
Once the electricity cost savings are seen, generally within a month or so, most clients quickly expand their solar PV systems to their maximum roof capacity available or 100 kW.A� Approvals for systems greater than 30kW generally take 2 to 4 months in most states.
